Getting started with anything isn’t a problem but staying consistent is the problem.
We’ve always been told the power of consistency from our mentors and role models as the pure result to success.
But it’s still difficult to stay consistent. Well, let me show you what has worked for me and how I try to stay consistent even when it gets tough
These are my four proven ways for consistency:
1- KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE WHY
I am the type of person that doesn’t do anything without having a strong reason for doing so. Before I do anything, I always have a solid WHY. Because at the end of the day it’s my WHY that keeps me going when the going gets tough.
I know most content creators are finding it difficult to stay consistent in this visibility challenge. But ask yourself why? What’s your strong WHY for joining? Then keep your eyes on the WHY. This is the first motivation you can ever get in staying consistent
For everything you do in life have a strong REASON for it and KEEP your EYES.
2-BUILD A SCHEDULE
Plan out your day, prioritize your priorities. Make sure what ever set plans you have planned to achieve, is it in your business, career or personal growth comes first in your schedule.
“DON’T PRIORITIZE YOUR SCHEDULE, SCHEDULE YOUR PRIORITIES” Steven Covey
Whatever growth and success you desire should be your first priority. Build your life around it.
3-IGNORE YOUR FEELINGS
This is the battle field itself, there are times I wake up and don’t feel like doing anything. I don’t feel like going on but to take a long break.
Most times I don’t even feel inspired to write a content. But whenever I remember my big WHY. I just ignore my state and feelings.
“Successful people don’t work because they feel like, but work because they ought to” This quote keeps me on.
So even in my uninspired state, I still force myself to work.
Get it, IGNORE your FEELINGS and GET TO WORK
4- FIND AN ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNER
This is my best way to stay consistent. Having an accountability partner or a friend to keep you accountable of all your actions.
Also keep yourself accountable as well. Every morning I wake up, I set my goals and my schedule for the day and then share it with my accountability partner.
And because I have shared that plan with him/her it pushes me to work cause at the end of the day I have someone I would give account to.
These are my top 4 proven ways to stay consistent in my growth and in any challenge I engage into.
