I have been getting messages especially from young people on my journey, particularly how I started impacting lives and making money from it. This is a story which every time I think about, it brings me to my knees in tears because the journey wasn’t smooth.

It started four years ago when I finished my first degree, at that time there were different people doing amazing stuffs online especially in the area of inspiring and educating people but it was really confusing because I didn’t know where to start from. Attending different trainings made me more confused, even when they said add value to lives, I wasn’t sure what it meant until my eyes opened to the truth.

WHAT IS THE TRUTH

Value is relative, this is something I didn’t know for a long time until it became clear and boom my path to adding value to lives online began. Value being relative means the two major things;

Value doesn’t mean the same thing to you and me. What I call value can be different from what you call value, this is why you must understand what I call the DOYA formula. The DOYA formula means;
Demand Of Your Audience

When I discovered this formula, it shaped my positioning, content creation and the types of digital products ( courses, trainings, coaching programs etc) I create online. This is also helped me understand what I post daily and what not to post. If you miss this part then you will struggle to penetrate the noise on social media and become relevant.

For example, I am occupying the area of inspiring and educating people on legitimately making money online using their experience, knowledge, passion, talents or digital skills. Guess what? There are many people doing same thing online and if I must be visible and even profit from the same area then one thing must be my major weapon. What is that?

THE DOYA FORMULA

Understanding who my audience are, where they are and how to get their attention so much that my content is relevant to them that is helps solve their pain points is the major weapon I discovered and this has helped me build a profitable brand online ( a free masterclass I will be doing on WhatsApp today).

If you like learn content writing and any other digital skill but you lack the understanding of who you should be adding value to then forget about being relevant and make money online. There are many more things to share but with the ones I shared above, you should get a headstart in adding value to lives.

Remember, value is relative and who determines value is the people who you are sent to solve their pain points.
